Audio getting cut off after quiz results

New Here ,
May 08, 2012 May 08, 2012

I have one additional slide after the quiz results are displayed.  The user should click the Continue button and be taken the last screen where I have some audio but the audio will not play.  I have trolled the boards here and on the internet and don't like what I'm reading.  Can this be easily solved.  I already have the latest version of Captivate 5 with all updated patches.

Hi,

Can you share the screenshot of the last slide with the timeline?

Try creating a blank project and then try adding audio in that. see if it works.

I have 5 modules in this project.  This is the only that cuts the audio after they receieve their quiz results and the trainee clicks the Continue button. Don't know why it would only be this as they are all set up in the same manner and Module 1, 3, 4, and 5 play just fine at the end.

Interestingly enough the module occasionally does play the audio after 34.8 seconds, which happens to be the time of the audio iteself.  Again, completely stumped...Anyone seen this or have a workaround I would be greatful.

The issue could be something to do with the way Captivate is trying to access this particular audio file in this project.

Try exporting the audio file as a WAV, then rename it to something different outside Captiavte. Then remove the audio from this problem slide, reimport the renamed audio file, and try to apply it again to the same slide.  If that doesn't work, delete the problem slide and try applying the audio to a newly created slide.
