Hello!
I have openned all my captivate files and even tried to create new ones and the layour preview shows black. I even updated to the new captivate version and this is still going on.
Do you guys know what I can do for this?

Attached is the error once the application try to open. After a few seconds, the app close completly.

You are on a Mac computer and I will also bet you are on Big Sur version OS.
If I am correct, then you need to install the patch update to make Captivate compatible with Big Sur. Search this forum for a recent post where the link to this patch was advertised. (I am not a Mac user.)

You are right, this are my versions:
Adobe Captivate Version - 2019 11.5.5.676
MacOS Version - 11.2.2
The thing is that I already install the patch, for a few minutes I was able to work well, but then I got the "activation" error and the app close unexpectly
Any other advice please?

Did you reset your Preferences after you installed the patch? If not, try doing that again. Use the file inside the Utils folder of the Captivate install directory. There's a special file there for Mac users to reset their preferences.

Not sure Rod and me are talking about the same version. The patch was an early version, but now there is a new official build for Big Sur, a dng file. Have a look at this:

Yes, I have installed that new build of Captivate version 11.5.5.678 on my MacOS Version - 11.2.2
This is the version of the installer - 5.0.0.351
I just run the CleanPreference for Mac (pfa the result)
Still getting the Activation Error when trying to open the application

Quick update!!
I just give FULL DISK ACCESS to Adobe Captive on System Preference on my MAC, and everything is running smoothly!!
Hope this could be the final solution... will start validations and let you know what ever I found

Mine is doing the same and I am really frustrated. i have downloaded the latest version but doesnt work on my mac. Can someone please help me?
