Can Captivate 9 recognize a movie with a alpha channel? I am adding a 3d animated avatar to my course and do not want a block bored around the video i want only the character. i know how to create a video with one but i am not sure if captivate can read it.

1st off thanks for the reply. however the question has gotten a bit more complicated so I am using After Effects to create the alpha channel, which no longer exports FLVs. So i went to plan B move the export to AME CC15 which also no longer supports FLVs. So i switched to plan C which is to export from After Effect a video that does support and alpha channel and Imported it Captivate to convert it to a FLV because of course that would work ....hahaha...nope. Plan D I export from After Effect as a AVI with a Alpha channel and the proceeded to to re-export from an older version of AME, CS6 to be exact (i just happen to still have) which still supports FLVs checked the box to make sure the FLV rendered with an alpha and .... still no a go I bring the FLV into captivate and it has a white background, this is bit of improvement since the original background i Keyed out was blue but it's still a no go. any thoughts?

I have been searching all over for a solution to this. At this point I think we are just going to have to use short GIF animations. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

You could also use an OAM animatino.

Tried the OAM animation method and could not get it to work. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
