Hi
We would like to have animated presenters in our training courses, ideally using TTS
Does anyone have any experience with TTS animations?
Would it be possible to use crazy talk for animated presenters using TTS in captivate?
What about adobe character animation and captivate TTS combined somehow?
Thanks for advice

No easy way I'm afraid. TTS works fine in Captivate for audio.
I am hoping for a future easy collaboration with Character animation coming with After Effects. But know that I have a lot of dreams.

Hi Lily,
Thanks for your help.
Is there a hard way?
Does anyone have any experience with some kind of lip synced animation in captivate?
How about if you take a captivate file and open it / use it in a flash builder project? Could you then write code ( I think it’s JS) to connect to crazy talk?

It is on my list to embed a Character animation (created with the software coming with AE) in a Captivate project. Sorry, but couldn't find time yet. I never used Crazy Talk.

Check out this example of using video. The character could be created against a light background and then use Adobe Captivate overlays to present information. http://www.guykat.com/intvid/index.html . Good luck!

Why can't you export your CrazyTalk Animator scenes into an MP4 format and then import it into Captivate. You could then use overlays to add interactions to lead to the next scene based on the selection or answers given. I do this already with educational videos. Send me an email at sespringe@gmail.com and I will send you an example of my attempt at interactive video.
