We keep getting this issue when opening capitvate files we've worked on in the past, or from clients. I didn't see any recent posts about this one, so wondering if there is a resoluntion to this issue?

Were you storing the files on a LAN server and opening them directly in Captivate from there?

Are you sure to use the same version of Captivate or a later version than the one used when creating those projects?

LATEST

Doesn't look good for your project files then.

If you are using the very latest Captivate 2019 version and the files are definitely located on your local hard drive, then the only other (usual) reason for not being able to open CPTX files is that they have become corrupted.

Did you keep backups of earlier versions of those same files?
