Captivate 12.5: PC monitor screen vs laptop screen

New Here ,
Mar 30, 2025 Mar 30, 2025

Is there any way that a project can look the same on a PC monitor screen (1920 X 1080 px) AND on a laptop screen? My project looks fine on a PC screen but then is too large on a laptop screen. Any help would be appreciated, couldn't find the solution online.

Potentially, the closest you can get is to decrease the size of the project in the Project Properties panel. However, since Captivate 12.5 content is responsive, it will not look the same across all devices "by design".

Captivate's output is HTML5 so you should also check the browser display percentage matches on both PCs.   Laptops with smaller monitors can still have high resolution and so it is quite common for either their browser percentage or Windows display percentage to be very different to PCs with larger monitors (or external monitors).
