Hello community. I am getting started with the current captivate version coming from classic. As I am building courses, I have been unable to get a slide to advance automatically with the widget settings.

Even when I place a new click to reveal widget and change nothing, the slide does not advance after all the elements are clicked. Am I missing something simple here?

If this isn't working right now, what are best practices in this version for restricted/forced navigation?

Welp, I'm dumb. This setting disables the next button until the activity is complete. Don't know why this took me two days to see. Perhaps a re-lable is in order.

Just a tip: forget everything you learned about previous Captivate. That means terminology, workflows, core principles etc... I am not pointing to the UI on purpose.

Contrary to previous versions this one acts like ppt: learner is supposed to click the Next button to proceed to the next slide, there is never an automatic process to advance to the next slide when the last frame of a slide is reached. Very weird for eLearning but that is my personal opinion of course. So you have to forget that previous decades long idea of automatic proceeding, and this means that if you want to force a view you have to approach it from the opposite side: disable the Next button until your conditions are fulfilled. If you use custom navigation some more possibilities are present.
