How do I open a Captivate 6 project into Captivate 2019 without breaking content or animations in slides. Or could I downloade Captivate 6 even though I have Captivate 2019?
Thanks.
Captivate 6 is no longer supported by Adobe. So much has changed since that version. I am not only talking about the new features, but about the changes due to the disappearance of SWF in favor of HTML output, the expansion of the Theme features, etc. You don't tell which version of CP2019 you are using, but if it is 11.8.2 even more has been lost (learning interactions, which have replaced the widgets are gone, effects have changed, slide transitionas are gone...). You don't offer lot of detail

You don't offer lot of details neither: 'breaking content', what do you mean? Animations: are you pointing at external animations (animated GIFs, OAM, SWF) or the Effects which are included with Captivate?
I just have a positivie note: you probably will still be able to open the Library of the old project in any CP2019 project as external library. At least you can recover several assets if you need to recreate the project. More in:

You have answered my question. 6 is way too old to have it open correctly in 2019. Thanks. It opens, it just doesn't have all of the transitions and some of the images are gone. I appreciate the reply back.

Thanks for the heads up. You could mark my answer as being correct. If by 'transitions' you mean slide transitions, know that they are not supported for HTML export, they have been taken out in the most recent version of CP2019 which 11.8.2 for that reason. Which type of image are 'gone'?

Just clip art that I used, and also text boxes that were used in Power Point Slides, that I originally created and then imported into Captivate. I figured that with flash player no longer being a part of the setup for PDF creations, I would have problems. Thanks for the replies.

I asked about the 'format'. Not all formats are supported by Captivate, and SVGs which are vector based and appropriate for clipart was not supported in CP6 but is now.
PPT import never has been a good feature in Captivate, I have recommended in this forum over and over again not to use it but to create from scratch in Captivate, using assets extracted from the PPT. A PPT file, just like a Captivate file (cptx) is in reality a zipped folder.
