Captivate 4 retake button not taking me to correct screen?

Hello, I have created a quiz in captivate 4, and am using the Retake Quiz button to allow users to retake the quiz. However, when clicked, the button takes the user to a completely different screen in the course rather than the first question in the quiz. Any thoughts on how to fix this so the first question appears when clicked?

Hello, and welcome on the forum!

Retake will get you to the first slide with a 'scored' object, and that could be a totally different slide than a question slide. Interactive objects like buttons, click boxes, Text Entry boxes can get a score just like Question slides (this is used p.e. in Assessment simulations for software). They could have become scored objects while creating a Training simulation. Captiv8r added this issue to the FAQ (mentioned in the Start forum), it is issue 17:

If you have identified the slide it gets you pointed at when choosing 'Retake', open the Advanced Interaction view (from Project menu or with shortcut F9). Navigate to the slide and have a look at the columns Points, Add to Total and 'Reporting'. It is the check mark in this column 'Reporting' that you'll have to delete.

I'm having a similar issue.

I have some question slides placed throughout my e-learning, and then a knowledge check at the end with approx 10 question slides in it. On the quiz results screen, I have activated the 'show retake button' option under the quiz preferences as I want users to be able to retake the knowledge check. However, the retake button takes users back to the very first question slide in the e-learning.

I have gone into Advanced Interaction and unticked Report Answer, Track Score, Add to Total and set the points to 0 for the question slides throughout the e-learning. The only question slides set to Report Answer and allocated points are the knowledge check slides. But the retake button still goes to the wrong point.

Is there a work-around for this, or will the retake button always take me to my first question slide ?
