Captivate 6 Bookmarking

Using Captivate 6, publishing files to an LMS (Scorm 1.2). What preferences do i choose so that the modules will bookmark i.e. if you leave the module part way through and then revisit, it will remember which slide you exited from, and resume at the same slide in order to continue.

Thanks in advance

If you haven't changed the default quiz settings under LMS Customization then it should already be set up to send Resume Data for LMS bookmarking.

Check to see if the checkbox for Never Send Resume Data is still unchecked.  If it is, you should be good to go...AS LONG AS...your LMS actually supports this feature.  Not all do.

Thanks RodWard

The LMS used did support it in captivate 5.5 but doesnt seem to work in Captivate 6?

Tested on one module and one quiz.

Each set up differently, the Quiz has the tick box for 'never send resume data' ticked, and the module has that option un-ticked. The quiz behaves as expected, returning you to the first page if you break out early and go back in, but the module is doing this also?

Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Thanks

Make sure that you have "send data on every slide" checked as well.

sasquatch, I believe TLC was talking about an option that doesn't exist for you. In Captivate 7, it's found in the same dialog you are showing.

Do you have access to a debugger in your LMS where you can see the SCORM calls being made?
