Captivate 9 freezes during software simulation

Please someone help me.  I have had Captivate for years, no issues.  I am on a laptop now, and started having issues.  Captivate would no longer record during a software simulation, or should I say it will not end, I must shut down Captivate completely.  My IT gave me a new laptop, copied everything over, now the exact same thing is happening.  I open any project, I have done new and old, once I click software simulation (manual or auto) it allows me to record (I hear the picture sound) then it will not allow me to end.  then I lose the whole project.  I can't be the only one!!!!!

Please help!!!!

Angela

If you are on Win, do you Run CP as Administrator?

Make sure in Preferences > General for Default Locations that the folders being pointed to are on your local C drive, not somewhere on a network or virtual drive.

Check your version number, it should be 9.0.2.437. I vaguely remember there were some simulation issues with the first release of 9.

Was 9 installed freshly or did you have alread an older version installed on that system?
