Captivate 9 Game Show elearning Brothers

Community Beginner ,

I have uploaded this game to an LMS. If someone starts it, exits, and comes back to continue the game, the game buttons that they previously selected appear not selected but their total points they earned from the beginning are still compiled in the right corner. How can the user start where they left off?

The solution...check Never Resume Data on the SCORM.

Could you please ask this question on the eLearning Brothers website?

Sure, I came here first because it is an asset in Adobe Captivate.

Understand, but there are so many assets that you cannot expect the few users that are active to try to help other users to have mastered all those assets. I never did use one of them myself.

Understood, that's why I was giving the forum a shot.

It COULD be because the retain state on slide revisit feature is not compatible with bookmarking. It will only work while within a project. If you exit the project and return through an LMS, items like pages visited or quiz scoring will be retained, however multi state objects will probably revert back to their normal state.

I've not tested this but I seem to recall this from somewhere.

So is there a way I can fix this? I would like to use it in the LMS. Would have to live outside the LMS?

I tend to agree with Lilybiri.  Since this interaction was created by the Elearning Brothers organisation, they would be in a better position to answer technical questions about what it could or could not be expected to do in an LMS.

OK.  But since you must be apparently serving this content up from an LMS if you had this setting turned off in the first place, then you need to be aware that checking this option will disable LMS bookmarking in your course.  As long as that is not an issue for the rest of the course module, by all means go ahead.
