Captivate 9 Import Audio

All of a sudden I can't import any audio to a slide. They are very small .mp3 files that provide narration. I've tried any number of methods (Audio menu, Media in task bar, Add Audio under Property Options, etc.) and nothing works. I don't get any error messages -- it just doesn't do anything. It was working yesterday. I even tried rebooting, but no joy. Any ideas what else I can check or do??

Well, that was something I couldn't have guessed. Solved is most important however.

Normally MP3 will be converted to WAV. Did you try to import them into the Library? I never import them directly to a slide or an object, but always import all my audio files to the Library.

If you cannot import them, try to clear the cache (Preferences has a button) but keep this file open so that its cache is maintained.

Problem solved... and it was so STUPID I'm embarrassed to say but I will anyway. The files were in a ZIP folder. I was grabbing files straight from that folder BEFORE unzipping them to a different location.
