Captivate 9 Install

I'm trying to install Captivate 9 on my Windows 10 PC but after the setup initializes, I get a Installation failed window.  I've tried restarting my PC and the followed the other troubleshooting tips but it always fails.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    does the error summary give any info?

    if not, Troubleshoot install issues with log files in Adobe Creative Suite (CS6, CS5.5, CS5), PS Elements, and Premiere Elements

    When I click on error summary it says it is not available.

    rename C:\Program Files(86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp to PDApp_old and retry installing.


    renaming the PDApp file to PDApp_old solved my Captivate 2017 installation issue
