Captivate 9- Issue with ''Apply Effect'' action. Has any one faced this?

Hello folks,

Captivate 9 user here. I'm trying to get around this issue but to no avail.

I have set up a simple click-reveal interactivity, where I want to show objects having animation. But this doesn't work as expected. The object is shown (with the effect), but only when I click twice (not double-click).

I tried this using simple action, i.e, On Success: > Apply Effect, Object Name. This never worked on single click.

So, I tried using advanced standard actions. Here, I set 3 actions. Show of the object, Apply Effect on the object, and Continue. I also tried a combination of using only one of these actions, and using 2 of the 3 (Show and Continue, Show and Apply Effect etc) However none of this helps. The object is displayed only on the 2nd click.

So am quite amused, as well as confused that nothing seems to be solving this glitch. I was quite sure something was missed from my end. But nothing comes to mind.

Please help out as this is such a fantastic feature which allows direct control over the animations and

Probably a Timeline issue, post a screenshot of the timeline, please? Tell also which effect you use and the exact number of the version. Latest for 9 is 9.0.2.437.
