Captivate 9 Some images from powerpoint not showing up

Guest

I imported a powerpoint presentation which happened smoothly.  However, some of the images in the presentation don't show up during preview and final output when I am exporting the project.  What could be the problem and what is the possible solution.  Thanks.

Do the slides where the images are missing have some kind of animation happening in PowerPoint?

If so, that could be the reason.

Yes, there are animations with images; however, it is happening with some images only.  Some images with same animation are showing up nicely.

OK.  So try turning OFF the animation on those images and see if they then export OK to Captivate.

I'm thinking that it might have something to do with the timing of when those images are supposed to appear on the slide.  Captivate doesn't always handle PPT's animation when it brings content into the CPTX environment.  It will just convert the animated PPT slide into a background for the Captivate slide.  But if your images in PPT weren't going to be visible at the start of the PPT slide, then they simply might not appear in Captivate at all.
