Captivate 9 Video Closed Caption option on Slide Notes

Question

The Video CC option is greyed out on slide notes, how do I make it available? I do not have audio attached, but the only option available is Text-to-Speech. Text-to-Speech will be added, but what I'm trying to include now is closed caption text through the skin feature.

Any help to resolve greatly appreciated.

You need to have audio present in order to add Closed Caption text. You can add lines of Slide Notes and convert these using the Text to Speech function and then replace this with normal voiceover audio at a later date. There's not really much point in going to all the trouble of timing the TTS with Closed Captioning if you're only going to replace it with audio later because then you'd have to tweak the timing all over again.
