Hi All,
I'm a new Captivate Classic user. My brain is still in "Storyline 360" mode and I'm having trouble adapting to Captivate Classic's way of "thinking." As a result, I'm struggling to build this interaction (pictured below). Any insights welcome. Thank you.

You won't be able to create this interaction with standard Captivate quiz question slides. You will need to use interactive components such as Shape Buttons on normal slides with Custom Variables and Conditional Advanced Actions.
Functionally there's not really that much difference between Storyline and Captivate. Both have User Variables and Conditional Actions. With Storyline you have to create the actions on each and every slide. With Captivate the same Advanced Actions can often be executed from multiple slides.
The main complexity in your interaction is due to the fact that the branching decisions depend on the user selecting a specific combination of objects (e.g. answer 1 & 3 OR 2 & 3), not just one object. You need to track what the user has selected by assigning values to custom variables when they click things. Then you use those variable values in the Conditional Action to decide which slide to jump to.

Thank you, RodWard. This is very helpful. How can I assign values to custom user clicked variables?

That information is readily available in the Adobe Captivate HELP files, and there are lots of tutorials about Captivate User Variables. You need to make the effort to put yourself through some basic training on this app. It can be quite powerful, but to leverage that power you need to do some learning. That's how all of us got here.
