Is there a limit to the number of times a published course, developed in Captivate can be accessed, or a limit to the number of individuals who may access it?

This may not apply to your situation but you can Password Protect a Project or add a Project Expiry. Press Shift+F8 and navigate to the Project: Start and End Subcategory. A project expiry would allow you to prevent a client from using your published work past a certain date. I'm not sure what your goal is but one of these solutions may prevent unauthorized users from access your courseware.
