I use Adobe Captivate Classic 11.8.2.216.

When I export to SCORM I get an error message when used in LMS:

"Error - unable to aquire LMS API, content may not play properly and result may not be recorded.  Please contact technical support".

Anybody who knows how to handle this?

Did you let Captivate create the SCORM ZIP file or did you just zip the folder containing all the Captivate HTML5 output files yourself?  If the zip file is not created properly the LMS cannot find the files where it expects them and this message can then be the result.

If you DID let Captivate create the ZIP archive then it may be that your LMS is not set up to find the API.  You can test whether this issue is your LMS or Captivate by just uploading your SCORM zip to SCORM Cloud online LMS as a test.  If it can find your SCORM API, the issue is 100% likely to be your own LMS.

Could you try to test the output on SCORM Cloud? Just to be sure that the problem is linked to Captivate.
