I have created a 3 part software simulation with an assessment at the end. Parts 2 & 3 are working as designed. Part 1 is giving me a score at the end of the simulation but it is not posting the score in the LMS and includes a continue button on the score page but does not continue. It just sits there like it does not know what to do. I have it set to "exit" just like the other 2 parts but it doesn't. I can manually exit but it doesn't post my score. Any ideas?

Are those 3 parts each in a separate projcet?
The Continue button on the score slide normally triggers the actions which you specify under Quiz Preferences, Pass or Fail. If you kept the default actions (Continue) for those, it is not a good idea to have the score slide as last slide because the transfer of the data happens at the last frame of the score slide. Or did you use a custom score slide? It is recommended to have at least one slide after the score slide, which you can use for feedback and can have an Exit button.

They are 3 separate parts and I have tried adding a slide at the end but that did not work either.

Is 'part' a separate project? What are the actions under Quiz Preferences?
Did you check Advanced Interaction panel (F9): is the Total score what you expect?

The simulation is based on the same software. There are 3 simulations for actions available in that software. Simulation 2 and 3 acts the same as 1 and ALL settings are the same in each simulation. Nothing but the activity they are performing in each simulation is different. I have looked at the AI panel and it is set up exactly the same. Yes the total score is what is expected. I am at my wits end.

Without having access to the projects it is only guessing. There is a possibility that the project has become corrupted. If possible try to copy/paste small bunches of slides to a new project which is using the same theme and has the same resolution. Check after each paste action if everything is fine, if the score is registering and can be transmitted.
Since you claim that everything is the same in the three projects, I didn't ask about editing the score slide or changing settings.

I actually re-recorded it yesterday but still having the same issue with the new recording.

That means it is not corruption. Sighing... something must be different but hard to guess what? Sorry.

I figured it out. Thank you for your replies!

It would have been nice to know what the cause of the problems was, but that is up to you of course.

It was in the quiz settings of the continue function. The other simulations were set to either exit or continue so I tried setting this to something totally different and "open another project" was the one that worked.

Thanks for the update, that was the difference. I mentioned the importance of the actions triggered by the Continue button in my first answer.
