Are you asking what languages can the software interface use, or are you asking what languages can be input into your eLearning course?

My question applies to what languages can be input into an eLearning course.

Captivate uses standard system fonts like you would find in Windows or on a Mac. So generally I would say If you can type it, it will accept it. There is support for RTL languages, however, some Arabic speakers have expressed concern that it isn't 100% correct for all situations. If your intention is to use text to speech software you are much more limited. You will only have access to a handful of English voices, one French, and one Korean. You can purchase additional voices from the Neospeech company that provides the text to speech technology but at great expense.

...and maybe a better question to ask would be can I use Captivate in _______ language or can I use Captivate to create an eLearning course in ______ language. The software itself does have the ability to export all the text and captions from an eLearning course into a Microsoft Word document that can be sent to a language translation service. Once translated the file can be reimported. I design my eLearning in English but as a Canadian, it isn't uncommon for me to also produce a French version of my course. This is the process I use.
