Change the display text on a drop down list button?

Captivate 6 (32 bit) running on Windows XP

Is it possible to change the text displayed on drop down list button, that is displayed in a Fill-In-The-Blank question?

Default value is "--Select--" in whatever language the software was installed in.

AFAIK this is not possible, I entered this feature request, but it didn't make it even in CP7. It would be helping if you asked for it as well, because features requested by many users could maybe be considered for a next release.

I had come to the same conclusion but hoped that someone had found a work around. I will definitely submit a feature request. We publish in many different languages and having buttons default to the install language without the ability to change it is not acceptable.

If I had found a workaround (and published a lot of them) would certainly have told you. You could replace the default FIB questions by custom made questions, but of course that is more work:
