Is there a way to set this color scheme, for instance, white letters on black background for all quiz slides so you don't have to change everything each time in Captivate 4?

Hi there
If you have Captivate 4 you may create a Design Template that has the desired attributes. You would then apply the Design Template to your project(s) to influence changes.
Cheers... Rick

Hi Captivate 4/5 users:
I researched prior forum postings before adding this.
I am trying to mimic a template created in version 5 in version 4.
I created a template that handles everything -- except quizzes.
When I create a quiz question, I get the same plain white slide others have mentioned here.
I'm confused about whether I can somehow retroactively apply the basic template background to my quiz question.
By default, Captivate 4 doesn't seem to make a way to do that.
Have I missed something? Much thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Can you upload a graphic or screen capture to show what it looks like in Cp5 that you're trying to replicate in Cp4?
That might make it easy for others to see what you want to achieve.

Good suggestion. Here's how the question looks be default in CA 5. Note it inherits the blue Calibri 18 pt font on the lower buttons, etc.
In CA 4, I get a plain white slide with the CA quiz defaults.
I'm newer to templates, so I'm wondering if there's something I've not done correctly in CA 4.
Thanks much for your assistance.

To me this looks like the Cp5 project is probably using a Master Slide with this background.
If you can get hold of the original graphic that is being used as the background for the Master slide then you should be able to use it as the background for each slide in your Cp4 project.
Captivate 5 introduced Object Styles which can be used to control all objects of a given type by manipulating the style they belong to. Since you don't have this in Cp4 you have to change each object manually. Another thing you need to be aware of is that there was a change to the way text sizes were done from Cp4 to Cp5, which means that the numbers shown for font sizes are now different. So to have a Cp4 project look very similar to a Cp5 project you'll probably need some trial and error changing the font size and then publishing out to compare the two.
