Closed Captioning behaves differently slide to slide

My CC shows till the end of audio on some slides and on other slides it stays on until the user moves to the next slide. Why the different behavior? I have tried changing where the click box timing is assuming that was the issue, but it did not solve the problem. I am using Captivate 9 and have seen a thread about this happening in Captivate 7 with no resolution. Please tell me there is a resolution or work around for Captivate 9.
