Custom Fonts

Community Beginner ,

I need to enable Custom Fonts/Adobe Fonts within Captivate so that I can follow company branding guidlines within the courses I create. Through Adobe Chat, I was guided to this article. While I understand the instructions, I am unable to add myself as a Product Administrator. Additionally, Custom Fonts is not listed within the Products tab in the Adobe Admin Console. Please help!

Adding more context to this post. This is the new Captivate, 12.5 release which should include Adobe Fonts, but alas, it does not.

Particulary Adobe Fonts: As far as I see it you need an Adobe Creative Cloud account. That way you'll have the CC Desktop Client installed. There under Adobe Fonts one needs to add at least one Adobe Fonts family. Once they are added here they will also appear in a special section: Adobe Fonts in font menus in Captivate.

Yes. I have an Adobe Creative Cloud account and the CC Desktop Client installed. When I click on Adobe Fonts, there are no font options. Rather the dialogue box states, "Permission may be required."

@Jillian23544825wrxu ,

Make sure you are logged-in using the correct account, whether that is personal, school or business. After logging-in - make sure you see the products, including Creative Cloud and Adobe Captivate in your approved applications.

I realize this may seem trivial, but have you also restarted your machine?

-Andrew

Yes. I am in the correct account, and I have access to Captivate within that account. And yes, I have restarted my machine several times as this has been an onging issue.

Adding that I have never had access to the Adobe Fonts tab within this Adobe profile/account.

According to your screenshot you are under some company's and/or network's restrictions. It looks like there's an IT administrative level which doesn't allow you to add Adobe Fonts or any other data from outside the network your are on - at least not without permission. Speak to your IT admin.
