How do I deactivate CP7 on one computer so I can install it on another computer?

There is no "Deactivate" option from the help menu as there is in previous versions of Captivate.

Hi there,

Now, you need to launch Captivate 7, click on help > Sign out.

After signing out, you will be able to activate software on another computer.

Thanks.

I click help/sign out and nothing happens.

I am retiring an older computer and unable to install on the new.  I am afraid that if I uninstall the program I'll have the same issue.

Help?

It might be a network or firewall issue on the older computer which is not letting it to deactivate.

Please try connecting with a LAN or check after temporary disabling the firewall if possible.

If you have a subscription, then while installing cp 7 on another system, it will prompt you whether you want to sign out from previous conputers.

Let me know if that works.

Thanks, Varun!

I am online, connected to the network, but when I click "Sign out bram@empowered-teacher.com" nothing happens.

Is there any other way to deactivate?  I can't uninstall the software from the old Vista computer from the control panel either....

Maybe if there was a file I could delete?
