The answer to the first question is No; but perhaps I can take the liberty of sharing some additional information

Presenter is a tool for creating eLearning content. This authoring tool is a plugin to Microsoft PowerPoint and is available on Windows. Presenter produces Flash and HTML5 outputs which can be deployed on a Learning Management System or even on a web server, and learners will then be able to access and consume the published content using desktop browsers or tablet browsers (Android tablets as well as IOS tablets, but not iPhone specifically). That said, Presenter also contains "Presenter Video Express" using which you can create studio quality videos from the comforts your desktop. The output produced by video express is a MP4 file, which can indeed be played on any device that has an MP4 player.

Pardon me if this does not answer your question. If you can elaborate a bit more on what you want to get done with Presenter, it would make it easier for me to understand and I would be happy to help.

Thanks

For courses created using the Powerpoint plugin, the content can be viewed by users using the following:

On desktops - Flash and HTML5 outputs should be viewable using browsers - Chrome 37.x+, Firefox 4.x+, Safari 6.x+, Internet Explorer 10+, Microsoft Edge on Windows 10

On desktops - You can also the view the PDF output of Presenter using Adobe Reader 9 or later.

On Ipad - HTML5 output of Presenter 11 can be viewed on Safari browser

On Android tablets - HTML5 output can be viewed using Chrome browser

For courses created using Presenter Video Express,

You can publish your courses to your website or to video sites like YouTube and Vimeo

If you add in-video quizzes, Presenter Video Express also generates an HTML5 player along with the MP4  video. You can then deploy this entire output to a webserver, and users will then be able to view the output on the browsers mentioned above.

Thanks

For Presenter, if someone is for example viewing it on a browser with an iPad with HTML5, do they need to download any app?

And how is the situation for "Captivate", playing on browsers for each device?

Thank you.

Hello,

I tried to publish and the quiz and scenario interactions publish, but the regular interactions do not: they just show a blank page where the interaction is - any suggestions? I am using PPT 2007 and tried a reboot.

Thank you,

Philip

Hi Philips,

We are not supporting PPT files for Office 2007 compatibility with Presenter 11.

I would suggest you to upgrade your Office version.

Thanks,

Hi Philip,

We are not supporting ppt anymore from presenter version 10 onwards.Presenter 10/11 will work only with pptx file formats and powerpoint 2010 will work successfully if you create pptx files.

Thanks,

Sidhartha
