Question

DPI screens don't work with Captivate - can Adobe please fix this???

Setting DPI awareness = 1 only makes it worse. I can't see the program fonts, the recording screen is miniscule, etc.

I can't even use Captivate now, and I need to record lectures every week for my work.

And what's worse, you can't even contact support via email on the web. They only give a chat option, and that's not even available during business hours here.

Mathew, I'm not sure what problem you are experiencing. Perhaps you could put some greater detail so that others can duplicate what you are trying to accomplish and see if they get different results.

You can reach support via email at CaptivateHelp@Adobe.com. Also if you wish to report a bug or make a feature request you can do so here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

i have a macbook pro retina display 2880 x 1800 dpi. I have to set DpiAwareness =1 to get Captivate to record videos. When I do, I cannot read anything on Captivate, the menu items, words etc, because they become incredibly small. All my other software is aware of this screen resolution, and adjusts accordingly, but Captivate doesn't.

So I can't use it until this is fixed, unless I change my screen resolution.

You have to set DpiAwareness back to 0 to use Captivate on a retina screen (which makes it again rescalable). Keep both versions of AdobeCaptivate.ini, so that it is easy to switch. I am using it that way on a laptop and Surface Pro 4, both with Retina screen. I agree that it is a cumbersome work flow because sometimes you'll also have to reset the Preferences folder, which means losing customisation. For some customisation I described a work flow in: Captivate 8.0.1 Install? Keep your Customisation! - Captivate blog
