Drop down dialog boxes appear off screen

I have just downloaded the trial version of adobe captivate 2017. I am facing an issue. The drop down dialog boxes appear behind captivate. Attached are the screen shots.

    Can you try to clean the Preferences while Captivate is closed? Look in the subfolder 'utils' under the installation folder for the file CleanPreferences.bat and run that file.

    I hope Captivate is not installed on a networked drive?

    I tried doing the same; however, it dint make any difference. Reinstalled the software, its working fine now.
