Erroneously "Animated" Screen Backgrounds
I may have reported this a while ago but can't find the post and in any case I didn't get a solution so I am trying again.
I have a very frustrating screen capture problem with Captivate 8 that is costing me a lot of time.
The problem occurs when capturing assorted web application screens. It has happened with IE 9 and now with IE 11.
I end up with some backgrounds that randomly include animation, i.e., the background actually consists of more than one image; the image changes after some period of time on the timeline. This is not a full motion video, it's a background that should consist of one and only one image based upon a click or screen refresh or whatever. The problem is not revealed until publishing and random screens are incorrectly animating with double images where there should only be one screen.
Older versions of Captivate never did this. I think it started with 7.
It seems random and not limited to one type of screen interaction.
The ultimate question is how can a background be "dynamic" and consist of more than one image at a time? This feels defective to me.
If someone one knows of a setting to change, I'd be much obliged. The problem causes a lot of rework.
Thanks.
