Hi snoopy8130

I have no clue on both the cause of the error, what it means exactly, or what to do about it.

I suppose I'd try the following approaches.

1. Restart Captivate
2. If that fails, restart the PC
3. If that fails, clear temporary files
4. If that fails, reset Captivate by closing Captivate and deleting the Captivate_v10.dat file. For this, try the following TechNote:

Questions:
Are you editing the .CP file on your local C drive or on a network drive?
If on a network drive, move the project to the C drive and the issue will likely resolve.

Is the path to your .CP (source) file extremely long? If so, try moving the .CP file closer to the root level of the drive.

Hopefully this helps... Rick
