I get this error message when I try to save a Theme. I click Retry and it then says the Theme has been saved successfully.

Not sure if this will cause me issues down the road.

Thanks in advance if someone knows what causes this.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching Adobe Community.

Which version of Captivate you are using and it is on which platform?

Try to save it in some other location.

Also make sure you are not dealing with any network locations.

Thanks!

I have the same issue. I am using Captivate 10.0.0.192 on Windows 7.

The issue occurred when I tried to set up my custom recording mode by selecting various check boxes (e.g. Add Text Captions, Show Mouse Location and Movement, etcetera )

The screenshot shows one of the error messages I received.

I was  getting a similar error today in a class I was delivering on Cap 2017. We were trying to create a new style to replace the default capture  text caption style and Captivate kept throwing this error. Have never had this happen in Cap 9. Solution was windows task end task. Once we had done that and restarted able to change the style in the default settings for Capture Text Caption. Windows 10.
