Grouping objects - is this possible in Captivate 4?

In my continued quest in wishing for Lectora functionality, I am wondering if the grouping of objects is possible in Captivate 4. I do not see the option but maybe it is accomplished in some other manner.

This is a tremendously useful feature that most other application have (i.e. other elearning tools, all graphics apps, etc.). A practical use would be grouping a commonly used note box with an icon so that it can be copied as one object to new slides.

Any thoughts?

Hi Shawn

The only grouping that is possible is temporary grouping. You press and hold the Control key as you click the objects to be grouped. They remain selected until focus is removed from the selection. Perhaps you edit a different slide or click another object on the slide.

There is no permanent grouping of objects.

That's what I was afraid of and I am surprized that such fundamental functionality is not available in Captivate 4. Time to go back to the wish list again?

This is not a super big deal but it would sure help with building standardized elements (like I used to do in Lectora).
