Hey, I'm trying to absolute position an element on the page but even though I believe I did all that is necessary it won't work.
Now the image and the positioning settings of it: (I'm using absolute positioning to gain more control over it like minimum height, when I put it in a fluid box I can't control the minimum size.)
It seems to be working in preview modes. (with slider or custom phone sizes as you can see):
But the thing is when I preview in Chrome or Firefox and as soon as I pull the slider the image drops down to the very bottom of the slide. (what happened to my 7% margin lol) See here:
So what's the problem here?
In my view on responsive projects with fluid boxes, 'absolute positioning' cannot be doen in that workflow at all. If you need a responsive project you always work with relative positions. If you turn on the rulers and add some guides, they will always be in %, never in absulute units, pixels.

I tried to explain the differences, advantages and disadvantages of both wprkflows in a blog post:

Indeed, to me absolute positioning and Fluid Boxes are 'contradictio in terminis'. Did you read that blog?
You can position guides to create fluid boxes but within the fluid boxes themselves the position of items is controlled by the settings in the Fluid box: wrap, vertical, horizontal settings and padding.
