If you know you will never use that click sound ever again, this is for you.

Sure, you can disable click sounds for click boxes and buttons you've made. But you realize question slide buttons don't let you do that. 🫠

What if you're like me and you never, ever, ever want to hear that sound, ever, ever, ever, everrrrr again?

Answer: You just need to delete or rename the sound file in your Finder.

In Finder: Do a search for "mouse.mp3" and locate the one in Adobe Captivate 2019 (see image below). This is what Captivate uses for default button sounds.

Delete or rename it.

That's it. No scripts, no fiddling with timeline, advanced actions, etc...

Of course, if you think you'll be wanting to use this sound for question slides in the future, this isn't for you.

That possibility has been posted many times on this forum. You can also replace the MP4 by an exmpty sound clip, if you ever want to get it back.
