Question

How can I capture full screen with a resolution of 1024x627

I've done some testing within my organisation and the best resolution to use for our hardware is 1024x627.  However, when recording a simulation I'm unable to capture the full screen of the application.  Is there a way around this?

Hi guys, thanks so much for all your responses.  I recorded a new simulation and then reduced the size of the project.  This reduced the screen quality marginally and worked really well for me.

Before I record, I set the resolution on my desktop and in my internet settings, I select full screen. Then when I go to record, I record a custom size. There may be scrolling required but it should record the full screen.

Be careful with the tip about rescaling because it always leads to quality decrease!

    Hi,

Are you trying to record the simulation from within a project>>New Slide>>Software simulation ? If yes, then try recording a new project File>>Record New>>Software simulation and then try recording full screen or enter any resolution that you want to capture.

You could record the full screen, then go to modify, rescale project, and select 1024x627. I use this method to record my full screen but deliver to users in 1024x627.

It is certainly possible to set the custom size to that resolution. How did you proceed?

Please, tell which version you are using, which OS and eventually if you are on a retina screen.
