Question

How can I edit timeline text?

How do I add and edit the text within the Captivate 9 timeline?

Another question. Does Captivate 9 have an option that will read the copy I write for the viewer?

Thanks.

I agree about the Newbie UI; it's the first thing I pushed aside.  Now if they would only reduce the button sizes so we could get some screen real estate back...

Sighing with you, Captivate 8 was many steps back in customization all for the sake of 'newbies'. At least let us move and resize that BIG button bar. Give us back the ability to reduce the panels to an icon (they were really cute in CP7 and so useful) instead of only to the title bar. I also miss a real toolbar, like we had before with the vertical toolbox. Do not reset the Properties panel always to the Style tab whenever you do something, I don't want to be controlled by an application; when I'm busy in the Options or the Actions tab, let it remain active until I decide to switch to another tab....enough for today.

What do you mean? Timeline is part of the UI, cannot be customized.

Thanks. Perhaps you can tell me what the text means here. I see it's Slide Notes.

My background is in Flash.

What do you mean? Please explain.

BTW I see a shape button that has no active part, the pausing is at the start of the slide, what is its meaning? And why do you connect the end of many object timelines to the end of the slide timeline (red triangle)? Why such a long inactive part for the other shape buttons? Only reason can be an audio clip (which is not visible)?
