How do I get to the activate screen after I downloaded 30 day free trial of Captivate

What do you mean? You can use the trial version just by starting Captivate. Or did you buy a license and want to activate the trial version now? In that case: is it a perpetual license or a subscription license?

ok. I go it. no need to activate trial version. Then I have to really see how can I start Captivate? The application in downloads when double clicked, tries o reinstall.

I am using a ne Windows OS version, not fully familar to get to start different programs.

Run -> Programname usually starts. Currently when I pe Adobe or Captivate in Run-> it says no proram of that sort

Did you really install the application? Maybe you only downloaded the file to install? Look if you can see an exe file.
