Question

How can I stop the progression to the next slide?

Hello,

I want that there is only one way to get to the next slide: by using the button or click box (I tried it with both) at the right side of the page. I added a click box and chose the option "stop until user clicks" (the wording may vary as I'm using Captivate 10 - 2017 in German). The click box appears after 1,7 seconds and pauses the project. But when I click two times in the middle of the slide it moves forward to the next slide. This happens on sites with drag-n-drop and on normal sites (only text).

I did not find an answer for this problem. The project is a power point import, unfortunately I cannot remember if I chose the move forward automatically or by clicking.

Maybe someone knows what to do!?

Best regards

Claudio

(I'm using Captivate 9 and released the course in moodle)

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline?

Check also the number of attempts for the click box or the button? What is the Success action? If the number of attempts is not infinite, what is the Last attempt action?

Have a look at:

Yes, of course: 2017-09-05_09h30_08

I chose unlimited attempts and success action is "go to the next slide".

Thank you!

I do not see that option as I am executing advanced actions (that's how i'm displaying my info boxes). Here is my properties panel for one of the buttons. Perhaps there is a way to do this in the advanced actions?

That was not mentioned. An advanced action normally pauses the playhead without having to check any option.

Can I see that action please?
