I have recorded a few short video demos and would like to leave the mouse pointer in so it can be seen, but on occasions I need to edit it out, is there a way to do this?

Choose Edit>Edit Mouse Points and drag them off the screen.

? Why drag them off the screen, you can delete it simply. Or keep the click and not the path. And smoothen the path, but there are only two possibilities: either straight or curved but always from start to end point. There is no way to edit the path.
