How Do I Get Assessment Sim to Report Accuracy {percent} to LMS

I have created a number of software sim assessment style lessons. There is a Quiz Summary Page at the end, and the scoring works fine.  However, when I publish as a SCORM 2004 object, in a zipped file, after setting it up in the LMS (Docebo), when I run a report, it only shows the score, which is a raw number. I want to report the percentage correct, e.g., 83%, so whomever reads the report will know if the learners passed or failed. BTW - the software sim assessment's quiz report works fine

Does Captivate only return the {score} field, or does it send all the fields from the quiz report screen?

Did you try to test in SCORM Cloud, to be be sure that something is wrong within Captivate or within your LMS?

Hello Steve,

There is ton of information on the Docebo website and forum.

Check with Docebo like Rob said.

I used Docebo in the past and never have a problem with the reporting.

You can also use Scorm Cloud or Docebo for debugging.

In Docebo do the following as a Superadmin, reach the

Admin Menu from the gear icon in the left sidebar.

From the Admin Menu, select the Advanced Settings option, then reach the Advanced tab.

In this tab, flag the Enable debug for SCORM API option in the SCORM section. Then Save.

As a Superadmin, reach the Score Management function. From there you can  configure the test’s scoring options.

The Score Management page is divided into three areas:

Minimum Score,

Score Display, (express score as percentage)*******

and Manage Score Per Question

Try those setting...

If you actually used Docebo and tried to use the Score management function you would know that the Score Management function is only accessible if you create the test within Docebo and not when uploading a SCORM file. The solution is found by publishing as a SCORM 1.2 file, though it's not really a solution as the problem is in Captivate. I just published from Storyline a SCORM 2004 file and it worked fine in Docebo. It's an Adobe problem, as usual, and also as usual Adobe is just going to blame other software instead of fixing the problem because that's what Adobe does, buy out software and then abandon it.

Hello Brenden,

I create a simple quiz in Captivate 2019 ver 11.5.0.475, 5 questions, 20 points each.

Published as SCORM 2004, 3rd Edition.

Uploader to docebo an old version.

Check the grade book setting.

I get the following when I check the report card for the student.

This is an old version of Docebo, but I see 60%.

The display is not pretty. Check with Docebo, and review all the setting.

Them check with Adobe.

It sends all the usual SCORM data required by the SCORM standard.  It's up to your LMS how to display that data.

Try uploading your project to SCORM Cloud and you will see that a decent LMS is perfectly capable of showing a percentage score.  You should talk to your Docebo technical staff about this.

No this is an Adobe Captivate problem. I am having the same problem, I found a solution but I don't think it is the one Adobe should settle with. The solution I found is to publish as a SCORM 1.2 file instead of a SCORM 2004 file, reads as a percentage. However if I use Articulate Storyline and publish as a SCORM 2004 file it works fine. The issue is with Adobe Captivate, unless you can tell me of a setting or an option that can make it so that it is read as a percentage.
