How do I link Captivate 2017 to my TypeKit account?

What steps do I take to link Adobe Captivate 2017 to my TypeKit Account?

You just have to enter the locations where you want to use the Typekit fonts. Example: I add always localhost and my domain www.lilybiri.com. But you can add more locations.

Hi when you list the domain in the typekit domain field do you need to put the asterisk and the dot in front of it like they do? i.e. *.adobe.com,localhost,127.0.0.1

I have tried to make typekit work and the fonts I use show fine coming off the web on my computer but when I go onto my phone or iPad they are just showing as Arial or Times.

Also would typekit work on a sub domain? I use a subdomain content.markwaterfield.com to host my modules.

Using *.markwaterfield.com would handle the main domain plus all subdomains. Also, make sure you are using the same Adobe ID for Typekit as you use for Captivate.

I have published again using *.markwaterfield.com as the domain, I have checked that I am signed into CC with the same ID as I am signed into Captivate but the issue is the same as far as I can see.

On the link below the title text that says 'Responsive Features' on slide 1 and 3 should be in Bungee. It shows in Bungee when I view the module locally on my laptop and when I view the link off the web but still isn't on my mobile/tablet screen or another desktop/laptop computer. Any further suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks again Paul. I think I have covered the steps in the tutorial but still no luck. Do the fonts have to be published in a kit to work on Captivate output? I have published them as a kit this but I may be getting this bit wrong... I only have the minimum CC package which I think only allow one 2 font kit...

You may wish to reach out to Adobe. They might have an answer that goes beyond procedures.

In the Free account you can link only one website and have two families (family can have more than one font).  Did you try to link to multiple websites?

I am on the free version. I have now reduced the number of synced fonts in my account to 1 - Bungee.

(I don't know if this stage is necessary but I have published TK 'kit' -  containing only that one font - Bungee)

I have used the Bungee typekit font for the title text 'Responsive features' on the below project

I have then put the following into the typekit domain field on the publish panel when publishing

*.captivatetraining.co.uk

I have then uploaded to the following address

It shows in bungee off the web on the laptop I created it on (see below - no doubt using the version of the bungee font synced onto my computer) but if you look at it it on yours it will be in Times new roman or similar. This is driving me mad!! Any help - or ideas of who to contact at Adobe appreciated. Thanks for any help Mark

I never use the astersk, I put the full website (www......' and it always includes all subdomains. Can you check your Tk account? Personally I have the Portfolio account (since I have CC). I see that the Free account is allowing access only to a limited set of fonts (750) contrary to the 7500+ for the other accounts. I never do anything special to create a 'kit'. Here is alink to such a published course: I am using Tk fonts: Termina and Filsan soft.

I looked at the published ffile, but the slide showing up is totally different. The title is not included,  It it didn't accept the Tk font it would show up in Times New Roman normally but it is not showing up.

Since you see it on your machine, I suspect you also have localhost added?

Hi. Very Strange that you are not seeing the ‘Responsive Projects’ title text at all! I see it on my phone /iPad but not in the correct typeKit font.

I will try it getting rid of my ‘kit’ and putting the full web adresss in.
