How to keep text entry box from resizing

Explorer ,
Dec 03, 2016 Dec 03, 2016

Hi, I've got some text entry boxes (in grey below), and buttons next to them (Clear and Save).  I've made all of these the same height and aligned them vertically, but for some reason in the preview and published web views, the text entry boxes are larger, as in this screenshot. Is there a setting for this?  I haven't been able to find it.

Interesting - the problem only appears in HTML5, which I'm using.

I suspected as much. There are a lot more issues with HTML output, didn't see this one yet but will try to double-check tomorrow because I took a day off today. I need some more information

Is this a normal or a responsive project? Which exact version number do you use? I am on 9.0.2.437.

Can you show a screenshot of the size/location settings of one of the TEB's? Which browser do you use?

Hi Lilybiri,

I use the same version of Captivate as you - a normal - not responsive project.  I'm looking at this on a very large TV screen in Chrome.  I wonder if the screen resolution could account for it. I'll look at it from my work computer tomorrow.  Here's a screen shot-

Try changing the Character font size from 18 point down to 16 point or similar.  Perhaps the size of your font is not allowing the TEB to go any smaller.

I tried that, shrinking the text size. No difference.  I'll see what it looks like on a regular monitor tomorrow.

Bit off topic but I would never override a style, why not create a custom style?

TV monitor doesn't mean that the resolution is bigger than on a smaller monitor. Do the button labels and size look OK (Clear, Save)?
