How to re-enter a hyperlink in Adobe Captivate 9?

I am having a recurring problem with modifying hyperlinks. If I delete a hyperlink and then try to re-link it, I am not able to. The hyperlink buttons -modify and delete- become unresponsive.

The only way I can get it to work is by re-starting Captivate. Is this a bug?

Your version is not current.  Please try to Update to the latest version and see if that resolves your issue.  Don't forget to reset your Preferences folder after updating.

I'm having the same problem while using the latest version. How do I clear the project cache?

Look for the Clear Cache button under Edit > Preferences > General

I am having this same problem, but I am using the latest version of 9 (9.0.1.320). It will only let me edit or add a hyperlink if I close Captivate and then reopen it. I can then edit/add only one hyperlink on one slide, and then to add anymore, I have to shut down Captivate and reopen.

How long since you cleared out your Project Cache?

    Is this the latest version of 9: 9.0.1.320?

    Hyperlink has more functionality than just linking to something, which functionality did you use? I want to try to reproduce your issue.

      My version is 9.0.0.230.

      I was trying to use it to link to a webpage. The issue occurred after I tried to delete the hyperlink and add it in again.
