How to turn "don't retain text formatting" back on

I accidentally clicked "Do not ask me this again" on a checkbox when pasting text and now Captivate pastes only formatted text instead of the unformatted text I wanted (and previously had.) I can't find anywhere to turn this preference off. Any ideas?

You don't have to reset all Preferences to fix this.

You can reset that specific Preference by going to Edit > Preferences > Global Preferences: General Settings > Confirmation Messages and deselect the box for Copy/Paste with Formatting.

Correct, Rod, my apologies...

No apology necessary.  I doubt that most Captivate developers even know that panel exists at all.

I'm not sure, didn't test but you could try to clear the Preferences. Find the CleanPreferences file suited for your OS in the subfolder 'utils' of the Captivate installation folder, and run it. Captivate has to be closed while doing that. When restarting, a fresh folder will be created, hopefully restoring the original settings.
