HTML5 output instead of Flash

Several years ago, we created a Jeopardy-style game project within Captivate. We use this template to create several games for  many different topics.  It involves several advanced actions in order for it to score and output properly.  We've been outputting it as a Flash file.  Since Flash is going away, we need to figure out a replacement.  While our LMS software can understand HTML5, Captivate 9 does not properly output our file. Several of the advanced actions are not compatable.  Does anyone know if the newer version of Captivate solves this issue?  or does anyone have another suggestion?

You are 3 versions behind the present release which is 11.5.1. I count 10 and 11.0 as two releases. Your questions sounds bit 'theoretical', how can any other user know what the problem is with that game project for HTML5 which was OK for SWF output? You have the HTML5 tracker which can indicate which items are not supported, but something may be awry in the advanced or shared actions as well. I have not created any project with SWF output since the announcement of the EOL of the Flash player for desktop browsers. Can only recommend to download a trial version of 11.5 and test out. Beware: upgrade over so many versions can be a problem as well. Themes have changed quite lot, the Advanced Actions dialog has new commands etc.

If items appear on the HTML5 tracker in version 9, can i assume they will still appear in Version 11.5.1? If so, then upgrading won't fix my issue.

Can you please give details. Vague question. Rollovers are quoted on the HTML5 tracker because they are not supported on mobile devices, but they'll be functional on desktop/laptop systems. However the Rollover slidelet was SWF-based and should never been used anymore. Text animations are also SWF-based, not supported. Of course you cannot use SWF animations. FLV video if they are in the project will be converted to MP4 for HTML5 output, as are the FMR slides in software sims.

Anything not supported for HTML5 has a logical origin. However the HTML5 output and functionality has been approved a lot between 9 and 11.5.

Please, when asking a question be more precise....  Advanced actions will never appear in the HTML tracker, and that was your original question. But they may have been optimized for HTML output since CP9. If at least I knew what you were talking about, could better help, but that seems impossible so far. I use advanced actions daily in consultancy jobs, and shared actions whenever possible.  Version 10 an 11 have added the While loop.
