Hyperlink Gives 404 Error When Accessing Web Page through Captivate (Not Otherwise)

I'm a new Captivate user and I have an issue with a specific hyperlink. I'm on a PC using Chrome as my browser. I inserted the link by highlighting text on a slide and chosing the option to make it a hyperlink. Then I inserted the URL. When I preview the slide and click on the link, I get a 404 page missing error. It doesn't do this with other links. When I copy the URL I entered in Captivate and paste it directly into a browser it works, so I know the link address is correct. Here's the address: https://www.citetraining.org/dev/PlanningforTSMO/TSMO/PDFs/NCHRP20-07(345)_FR.pdf Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Strange, I use same version on a system and never had those problems.

Do you have Scalable HTML output?

No, but I got my partner to look at it and he said it's likely something with the website itself. He said maybe it's making a redirect happen if I click on it multiple times. He suggested I uncheck the "infinite attempts" box, and that *seems* to have worked.

Oh my goodness! Now I tried using a button as a hyperlink and it's doing the same thing--when I click on the left side of it, it takes me to the website. When I click on the middle or right, I get a 404 error. What in the world could be causing that to happen?!?

Hmm... which version do you use? You find the full version number under Help, About Captivate.

Is this a responsive project or a non-responsive project?

I'm using 2019, 11.5.5.553. It's non-responsive. The file was created in an older version of Captivate, though. I believe it was created in whatever the current version was in 2017.

Try to use the web object (under Objects).

Just tried it, and I can see the web object on the slide, but when I go tp preview it doesn't show up.

Ok, this is really weird. If I click at the beginning of the text, it takes me to the website. If I click the middle/end of it I get a 404 error. To experiment, I kept that text/hyperlink but I moved it off to the side for now. Then I added new text to try. I get a 404 error wherever I click with the new text, no matter where I click on it. I am baffled!
