I upgraded to Captivate 2017 and now my projects won't preview or play after publishing.

I upgraded to Captivate 2017 and now my projects won't preview or play after publishing. The screen just flashes.

I saved them as Captivate 10 as suggested.

    Are you talking about upgraded projects? Were they responsive or not? What happens when you create a new project from scratch in Captivate 2017?

    I started over and created a new responsive project in Captivate 2017.  One text-only slide loaded to preview once. Not again. No other subset of the program will preview. It's only 17 slides long. It has one drag and drop slide, and about seven short answer slides. One True or False quiz question. One results slide. Several text and image slides for teaching.   I have built and rebuilt this half-course, and am becoming very discouraged.  I am using a Macbook Pro, Sierra, OS 10.12.2,  Firefox.  In the past I have been able to publish to Moodlecloud. Now I can put the module there, but it will not open.
