I have imported a video (mp4) onto a Captivate slide. It works fine on a desktop browser, but on the iPad iOS7 the video begins to loop for a few seconds, then it stops and moves on to the next slide.
I do not see an option about "looping" imported mp4 videos in the Properties panel. Is there a way to make this stop?
I'm using Captivate 6 on a Windows 7 machine.
Here's a link to the video if you want to see the problem on slide 3 firsthand on an iPad.

I actually tested this myself, Dan. I downloaded the Captivate 7 trial version, and the video still loops on the iPad even if it's on just one slide.
Looks like I'll be recommending "no upgrade to Captivate 7" to my executives and team until this bug is fixed.

Has the video bug in Captivate 6 been corrected in Captivate 7? We're trying to decide if we should upgrade.

No, it still happens Captivate 7 – at least with Multi-slide Synchronized Video. It is really, really annoying.

Thanks, Dan. If you get a chance, would you let me know if it happens when the imported video is all on just one slide? I don't use the multi-slide.

It is really unfortunate. It is amazing to me that this issue would
remain unresolved for so long. The HTML5 export is still really hacky
and poorly implemented – and this is just one symptom of that. I am
really disappointed with what could have been a great new release of
this software.

I agree, Dan. They shouldn't advertise "build your lessons for the iPad" when too many of the features developers need don't even work on the iPad.

Yep. And the fact that your .mp4 files get extra copies made of them for SWF + HTML5 output, doubling the storage requirements for multi-slide videos and TRIPLING them for single-slide videos. I cannot even pretend to understand what that's all about. I wrote a Perl script to clean up the HTML5 output; deleting duplicate video files and re-parenting back to the original in the .js output. It works, but such steps should not be necessary.

Wow. I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it.

In addition, when playing this project on my iOS7 iPad, the audio doesn't play until around slide 3. I don't have any advanced features, overlapping audio, or anything like that, so I'm wondering why the iPad is having the issue with the audio too.
